Artists statement
These drawings are inspired by my immediate surroundings, and are best described as drawn “inside out”.
Essentially, they are exploring the placement between the viewer and the subject. The composition is imagined using dynamic colour and sometimes, two or three different drawings are placed on top of one another.
This hopefully demands the viewers attention enough to ensure nothing is assumed.
