Hello my friends, hope you've been washing your hands and staying indoors with masks covering your face. I only say that because I care about you.
The star sign of people born between April the 19th till May the 20th is Taurus the Bull. It's easy to find examples of bull like behavior in any Taurus person. The brilliant Malcolm X once said, “Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery.” Malcolm was Taurus.
Last month the brilliant actress Miriam Margolyes, who is 78, gave a TV interview in which she revealed she sits on people on public transport if they refuse to give up their seat for her. Miriam is Taurus.
Do you remember when the brilliant singer Grace Jones went on the Russell Harty chat show, felt the host was turning his back on her she responded by giving him a mighty whack. Grace's sign is Taurus.
Do you remember when the brilliant Paula Yates left Sir “Saint” Bob Geldof? After getting the divorce she wanted she celebrated by damaging his home and throwing rocks at his windows. Paula's sign was Taurus.
If you read about the life of the brilliant political activist, Bianca Jagger, or the brilliant porn star, Traci Lords — all of these Taurus people seem up for a scrap but that doesn't mean they are mad, bad and dangerous to know.
Taurus men ruled by the bull tend to be generous, very focused, and very loyal. Taurus women (“who are ruled by Venus empress of love”) are stubborn, don't like change and find it hard to share but on the plus side they are intelligent and learn quickly. They are also affectionate and romantic.
Joe Louis, who, is without doubt the number one heavy weight boxer of all time, was Taurus. Louis defended his title on an astonishing 25 occasions and knocked out 50 people and was world champion for over a decade. The Ring magazine say he was the best puncher in boxing history. There are two famous Joe Louis quotes both of which are hard to dispute: “(Once in the ring) you can run but you can’t hide” and “Everyone has a plan until they get hit.”
A lot of other great thinkers had the star sign Taurus e.g. Freud, Marx, Kant, Russell, Wittgenstein, David Hume etc. Historians know almost nothing about William Shakespeare apart from the fact he was a genius and that his star sign was Taurus. (Of all his many characters the one that demonstrates Taurus characteristics the most is King Lear’s daughter Cordelia).
Over the next few months ... Jupiter in Capricorn will bring you good luck. Saturn and Pluto will double your determination and, I know this sounds like a bad joke but ... Uranus will inspire you to change and surprise people.
It will come as no surprise to you when I reveal that Billy Joel’s star sign is Taurus. There’s a line from one of his tracks I’d like to leave you with as I think it might have a bit of meaning for you. “Don’t go changing, to try and please me. I love you just the way you are.”
