100 Small Cardboard Portraits by Russell Herron
The artworld genius and lovely man that is Russell Herron has made the world a better place once again by bringing out a splendid book of the 100 Cardboard Portraits he drew last year.
The book is A5 size and features a short introduction by Russell PLUS an essay by the writer, curator and editor of appleandhat.com, Rebecca Geldard. The first edition sold out incredibly quickly so Le Document recommends you don't shilly shally over snapping up the 2nd edition. Each copy is signed and dated, but they are not numbered as the first 100 were. There are 200 copies of this edition and they cost £10 each, plus postage. Art lovers everywhere should take a butch at Russell's website and pay particular attention to the section PENCIL for it is here that you will not only be able to enjoy the 100 cardboard portraits that he's been selling as part of the Artist's Support Pledge scheme, but also as a bonus, you can see his portrait of Le Doc's co-editor, Harry Pye!
