Le Document
Editorial
Happy New Year and welcome to the first issue of Le Document blog/magazine. Le Document came about in the last few months of 2019 when I contacted Harry Pye to discuss a daily drawing project which I wanted to bring into a more focused publishing context and as it turned out Harry was also looking to start another blog with a different atmosphere to the Rebel and Extricate. So here we are, Le Document, c'est fantastique was created.
We are aiming to publish 12 articles, including an editorial, every month. Later in the year we hope to compile a hard copy if there is sufficient appetite and demand.
Some of the articles are of a longer essay form, others are almost straight caption led images not dissimilar to an Instagram post. One sitting should be enough time to get through an issue. Nice.
I want to thank all the contributors this month who have made this edition possible. Some names known and some new. We hope you enjoy everything they have to show and say.
