“Hello, is it me you're looking for?” These aren't my words. I'm quoting from Gemini songwriter Lionel Richie. Most songwriters are Gemini (Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Morrissey, Bob Dylan, Lauren Hill and a million others) which means they were born between the 21st of May and 21st June. Like Lionel, Gemini people aren't known for being lost for words.
Gemini people are confident and have the courage to communicate. When I think of songs by Gemini singers such as; Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made For Walking", Morrisey's, "Meat is Murder" and Marilyn Monroe's, "I Want To Be Loved By You", I feel they are united by a certain boldness. Obviously Miles Davis didn't sing but tracks like, "So What?" have that certain boldness too. Gemini women are often flirty. Kylie Minogue may be tiny but she's always confident wearing hot pants and spinning around on the dancefloor. Gemini men like Morrissey, Donald Trump and Bob Hope never shy away from drama. They are impulsive people who get ahead of themselves but their faults blur into their positive characteristics.
The late American conceptual artist John Baldessari was Gemini. People often told him they thought his work was funny to which he replied, "the world is absurd and off kilter and I'm just reporting back" I guess the belief that people need to hear your report or learn your theories is a Gemini thing. Trump likes to go on Twitter and say things like, "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?" it's hard to believe a politician whose sign was Virgo tweeting something like that.
Gemini actors get on well with other Gemini actors. Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Vincent Price were all born under Gemini which is ruled by Mercury. The three charming actors, all best known for their work in horror movies, all got on famously. On one occasion they had a joint birthday party in the chamber of horrors at Madam Tussauds. Mercury is known as the Planetary Messenger. Mercury was the God who guided souls into the Underworld. Curiously, people whose sign is Gemini are often happy during the day and scared during the night. They tend to get more bad dreams and nightmares than most. But during the day your average Gemini is always busy looking for the latest new thing to get excited about and then enthuse about.
Between June the 21st and November 30th there will be a Solar Eclipse that will cause an imbalance between personal freedom and restrictions. I advise my Gemini pals to try and be less reckless than usual during this period. I'm sure you wont follow my advice so I'll end with a little prayer...
