Roddy the rat

Hugh Mendes tells us that Roddy is now 4 months old and he was born early November and so is a Scorpio, same as myself and Lindsay, which is a coincidence.

He is growing up fast. He likes to hang out in his specially constructed church, as pictured.

He has a small bowl of yoghurt first thing in the morning. He sits waiting patiently for this, until Lindsay gets up. It is part of her routine too. Food is definitely his favourite thing in life, though he likes to be stroked too, when he is sitting on his special perch in his cage, on his red felt rug. He also likes a good play fight.

He scampers about the place especially when he hears the little bell we have, ringing. He knows this means there is a treat waiting, such as some toast. Yum. He has dinner with us, and gets particularly excited about spaghetti, or rice, though he likes vegetables too. He is very smart and learns fast.

We love him and maybe he loves us too. He is a very good boy!
