The drawings you’re about to see were found by Harry Pye when he was looking for something else. They were in a plastic bag with some stuff from 20 years ago. Three artist friends who he could have imagined drawing them have insisted it wasn’t them. Maybe the artist’s identity will remain a mystery?
What is clear is that as the sketches are so pleasing, powerful and direct they deserve to be known as Le Document Drawings of the Month, Jan 2021
