Edge City by Framers of the Constitution

Here at the Le Document office we like to listen to new and modern sounds and every now and then we get an email pointing us in the right direction. This was the message from one such email:

“No vocals. No cavernous reverbs. No acoustic instruments. No bass guitar. No toms. Plenty of synths and hooks this time round, though.”

So after a few listens we were hooked and decided to create a new section called Song of the Month.

The truth is we are also good friends with Andre Petrie (who sent the email) and he is part of the Framers of the Constitution band. There is a bit of an Add N To X quality to this particular track. As pointed out in the email, it’s pretty much instrumental with occasional shout out of the songs title in a digital style here and there. Anyway, who really needs lyrics when you have this amount of quality lead guitar splashed all over the track.
