Big Jelly, Ramsgate
Le Documents had a splendid afternoon recording bass and drums for a new single at Big Jelly Studios which was once an old Methodist chapel. The very affordable studio is a short walk from Ramsgate train station. It is crammed full of exciting musical equipment, the people who run it are all great company and super helpful. The studio also has a slide to play on and rooms with bunk beds should you need to stay over. What's not to like?
Peter Doherty, Jake Bugg, Jimmy Sommerville, Congo Natty, and Adrian Sherwood are just a few of the talented chaps who've been there in the past. Chris Tosic, Harry Pye, James Lawson, and Keith Wilkinson all loved the session they did for a new Le Documents single: 'Stick To What You Don't Know'. More news soon
